What changed
Two Roads Development announced on September 1, 2026 that it had reached and fully funded a settlement with the remaining Biscayne 21 owners. The agreement resolves the multiyear condominium-termination litigation and gives the developer the site control needed to advance EDITION Residences at 2121 North Bayshore Drive.
- 55 stories and approximately 649 feet
- 185 residences
- One-bedroom-plus-den through four-bedroom layouts
- Three tri-level penthouses
What the settlement does—and does not—confirm
The settlement removes a significant legal and site-control obstacle. It does not by itself confirm demolition timing, a construction start, finalized permits or a revised completion date. No new inventory release or incentive accompanied the announcement.
- Sales had previously launched
- Brokerage-advertised pricing is approximately $1.9 million to $35 million
- Rental restrictions were not reconfirmed
Todd’s buyer perspective
Buyers who discounted the project because of the litigation now have a clearer path to evaluate. The next step is confirming the revised construction schedule, permit status, deposit protections, current inventory and how the timing compares with projects already under active construction.
